Black Swan

This is a poem about another female friend of mine, again capturing the nature of her personality and character, and her affect on those who are close to her.

Hair black like ebony swaying to sounds of music playing;
As lips sparkling of redness reflect sunlight
upon glamorous midnight beauty,
eyes blink flirtatiously to signal guiding light
of peaceful innocence;
Calmness, serenity, and nurturance on display;
We beg to listen, we beg to watch,
ears and eyes of interest lingering until the dead of night.

Statuesque under dimming brightness dwelling
on the minds of nearby admirers,
heads too drunk to think;
Her image penetrating our blinded brains,
as we welcome a tolerance for more;
Excitement, smiles amidst our fixated faces,
she has us screaming, she has us dreaming,
we vow to be back to feel her golden essence again.
