Alley 300

This poem I wrote as I was  in the process of watching a friend of mine bowl a perfect 300 game. Prior to bowling his 300 game he was flirting with a 300 game and missed by just a few pins.

Glowing inferno eyes starving for revenge,
mind shaking, earth quaking alleys ascend;
Dog piling pins tumble from electric chair volts,
mentor dreams on high beams thrust flashes across 32 boards;
As 1-100, 2-100, 3-100 add shocks to the floor,
numerical walls and a biting rolling thunder
add electrifying waves to alley 300.
